Ainsworth Game Technology's mission is to close the gap between traditional and contemporary online casino games while diversifying its product offerings for specific markets and demographics.
Founded back in 1995 by the legendary Australian businessman and philanthropist Len Ainsworth AM, the provider is regarded as a force to reckon with in the global gaming industry.
In 2013, the company made a strategic leap into the online gaming market by entering a technology agreement with ComTrade Gaming.
This partnership allowed the company to harness ComTrade's gCore gaming server, facilitating the swift adaptation of their tried-and-true land-based slot games for the online market.
Since 2018, the majority ownership of the company has been held by Austria-based Novomatic AG. Under a non-exclusive distribution agreement, Novomatic and Ainsworth have combined their distribution efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Most of its games are five-reel slots, with occasional variations in paylines.
I also discovered a "tall screen" interface common among some of its titles, making them ideal for portrait mode play, while others reminded me of good old land-based casino games.
However, the majority of its titles are not accessible in mobile casinos. A few games from its collection I tried include:
- Pearl River Quad Shot: A 5-reel mobile slot inspired by China's Pearl River Delta, featuring captivating graphics and a plethora of Asian-themed symbols.
- Magic Rewards: A 5-reel, 25-payline mobile slot, which impressed me with seamless animations, solid graphics, and theme-aligned symbols.
- Royal Diamonds: A video slot that comes with all the popular features and symbols, including Wild and Scatter.
The provider holds licenses from both the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the UK Gambling Commission.
