What Does Ripple Offer?
The Ripple platform is an open-source protocol that is designed to allow fast and cheap digital transactions. It has its own cryptocurrency, XRP, but also allows everybody to use the platform to create their own via RippleNet.
Originally, the payment provider started with the name OpenCoin which was later changed to Ripple Labs in 2013. This was done to make it easily recognizable and have a closer link to the payment protocol being developed by them with the same name.
Today, the payment protocol has been implemented in numerous businesses including real money casinos.
Fees and Transaction Times
Firstly, the current transaction cost necessitated by the Ripple network averages around a modest 0.00001 XRP. Moreover, activating your XRP wallet on the blockchain commands a one-time fee of 10 XRP.
Secondly, Ripple makes online transactions easy and safe. Using a secure system called the XRP Ledger, it keeps track of all transactions and protects data using special security keys. Think of it like a super-secure online record-keeping system.
Finally, both deposits and withdrawals are incredibly quick with the XRP Ledger settling transactions within 3-5 seconds.

Is Ripple Worth It?
With fast transaction speed and a strong focus on security, Ripple has become one of the most handy payment platforms I have tried out so far.
The associated fees can be a bit off-putting especially if you deposit and withdraw money with high frequency.
However, paying the equivalent of $0.50 per transaction to have immediate access to your funds is a plus in my book. All of these combined make Ripple online casinos worth it for me!
